Noble Foods has appointed Ken Clow as managing director of its shell egg business, a key division within one of the UK’s largest food production operations.Handling more than 30 million British Lion eggs each week, the business supplies major retailers with both branded and own label products and remains the UK’s leading egg producer, as well as a Royal Warrant holder.Ken joins from premium meat brand Donald Russell, where he served as CEO. He brings extensive experience across agri food and food retail, with a track record in leading commercial teams, developing customer relationships and driving operational performance. His appointment follows the decision by Liam Burke to step away after five years in the role. After three decades in senior, travel intensive positions, Liam has chosen to pursue opportunities closer to home and spend more time with his family.During his time at Noble Foods, Liam played a central role in building a profitable and resilient business, strengthening supply chain partnerships and steering the operation through a period of significant industry challenge.Commenting on his new role, Ken said he was looking forward to working with colleagues, producers and customers to build on the strong foundations already in place within the business.Noble Foods said the appointment supports its ongoing focus on strengthening category leadership across both branded and own label shell eggs, with continued emphasis on product quality, customer service and long term partnerships with British producers, alongside further development of innovation across the category.
