New Appointment at Innovad UK

Dr John Dunne

Innovad Group in the United Kingdom and Ireland have announced that Dr John Dunne has joined the organisation as Business Development Manager for the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Scandinavia. Based in Cornwall, Dr Dunne will report directly to the Managing Director.

Dr Dunne brings with him a wealth of experience and a lifelong dedication to agriculture and animal nutrition. Raised on a mixed enterprise farm - comprising dairy, beef, and tillage - in the heart of the Irish midlands, he developed a deep-rooted understanding of farming from an early age.

He commenced his academic journey at University College Dublin, where he earned a B.Agr.Sc. degree, and subsequently relocated to Scotland to undertake postgraduate studies. There, he completed both an M.Sc. in Pig Production and a Ph.D. in Reproductive Physiology at the University of Aberdeen. With over thirty years of experience in the animal nutrition industry, Dr Dunne has held a succession of senior technical and commercial positions within globally respected organisations, including DSM, Provimi, Nutriad, and, most recently, Adisseo - following its acquisition of Nutriad in 2018.

In his new role at Innovad UK, Dr Dunne will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with their valued customers across the UK, Ireland, and Scandinavia. He will oversee a diverse portfolio of innovative solutions, spanning all key farm animal species, and contribute strategically to the continued growth and development of the business in these regions.

Outside of his professional responsibilities, Dr Dunne remains closely connected to his agricultural roots and enjoys a range of interests including farming, clay target shooting, hiking, reading - particularly historical literature - and spectating a wide variety of sports.
