BFREPA are delighted to host the 2023 National Free Range Show at the Telford International Centre on Wednesday 15th November 2023, in association with the Pullet Hatcheries & Breeders Associationin partnership with Noble Foods, and sponsored by NewquipForFarmersElanco and Boehringer Ingelheim.


Please put forward your nominations for one or more of the categories below, followed by a brief description of why you think they are worthy recipients.

The award categories are:

  • Local Food Business of the Year (e.g. retail farm shop, bakery, local supermarket, wholesale egg products, restaurant etc) - Apply Now
  • National Food Business of the Year (e.g. national supermarket or restaurant chain, catering or food service suppliers, new product launch) - Apply Now
  • Marketing Initiative of the Year, whose advertising campaign for free range eggs or egg products has caught your eye? - Apply Now
  • Breakthrough of the Year – what new product or technology is making a difference to your business or benefitting the free range egg industry as a whole? - Apply Now
  • Producer of the Year – Two awards available - Apply Now
  • Lifetime Achievement – who has dedicated their career to the egg industry & deserves recognition for their lifetime of service? - Apply Now
  • Free Range Champion! An individual or company that is doing sterling work to benefit the whole industry?  Who deserves recognition for helping their fellow producers or community? It could be anyone, you decide! - Apply Now
  • Employee of the Year - Who do you employ who excels in their work? Who deserves recognition for loyal service and a job well done? It might be your stockman or woman, it might be your daily egg collector, but take this opportunity to reward their efforts. All nominations must involve or be relevant to the British free range egg industry, so for example, if you are nominating a new food product, it must contain British free range eggs.

For the two Producer of the Year categories please also complete the Additional Information form. You may enter on your own behalf or nominate others. All nominations will be considered in confidence by a specially selected BFREPA panel, whose decision will be final.


BFREPA Young Producer Incentive Scheme
BFREPA and Wynnstay Humphrey Feeds and Pullets are delighted to launch a new Young Producer Incentive Scheme for the BFREPA Live 23! event which takes place at Telford International Centre on 15th November 2023.

The initiative will give 15 young producers, entry to the BFREPA Live23! Conference, a ticket for the BFREPA Annual Awards Dinner hosted by comedian Al Murray and hotel accommodation including breakfast for the evening of 15th November 2023, the whole package being worth over £200 per person.
