Costings Portal
The British Free Range Egg Producers Association has launched a Costings Portal for free range egg producers to input the data relating to their flock to compare price and performance with other farmers across the UK and Northern Ireland.
The costing portal allows producers to compare the variations in prices paid by the country's leading packers.
Members are encouraged to log on to the members area, enter their prices through the grades and compare prices with other producers.
BFREPA publish a costings calculator allowing anyone who wants to compare their prices with our average prices, or indeed anyone who wants to calculate the cost of egg production to do so easily. You can access the egg calculator at the link shown below.
